Monson Farmers - Crafters Market

The First Church of Monson, in collaboration with the Monson Agricultural Commission and the Monson Community Gardens, is hosting the Monson Farmers – Crafters Market. The Market will be open the second and fourth Thursdays from May 25 through August 24 as well as on September 7 in the parking lot across from First Church at 5 High Street, Monson, Massachusetts. The hours of operations are from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm or until dusk. An important aspect of this project is to provide free or low-cost food to area residents who need assistance with providing food for their families. Using a portion of the Market's proceeds, including donations from the farmers and local businesses who participate in the market, food from the market will be distributed to the Monson Open Pantry, Senior Center and qualified individuals in the area. We accept WIC and Farmer's coupons. Make sure you stop at the information booth to register for a free item each week.

Mission Statement

The Monson Farmers – Crafters Market is a Monson-based, all-volunteer, nonprofit market that operates from late May to early September. Our mission is to promote and support local farmers and crafters by providing inexpensive vendor space for the direct sales of seasonal agricultural products and plants for the home garden as well as hand-crafted items. With funds from donations and vendor rentals, we give Market Coupons to eligible Seniors and Open Pantry recipients to encourage the purchase of fresh produce. We make some space available for community groups.
